Supes and Bats talking in Kingdom Come is great; but my absolute favorite meeting between them is at the end of the first issue of Dark Knight Strikes Back.
After the flash has been running rings around him, and atomman (I think) has shrunken down small enough to run through Kal-El's ear canal, disorienting him; Batman wails on Supes with kryptonite boxing gloves. As Superman is crumpled on the floor of his lair, Batman looks him in the eyes and says:
yeah i was supposed to go home with him for his sister's grad and i thought it would be like... a family meal or two, maybe go out to the bar with his sister once, and then the rest of the time us hanging out and him showing me his hometown and maybe going camping or something. but if it's going to be like this fucking bullshit, there is no way i am going.
like if my stupid brother was in town for a week and i was like SORRY RYAN THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN HANG OUT WITH ME IS TO HANG OUT WITH MY STUPID BROTHER ALSO he would be lke 'fuck that' and all sad. so like... i wish he hated his family too. haha.
i would get tattoos long distance but as of yet i cannot afford it. and it would be more important for you to come for moral support since i would be so scared :S
he's not that jealous. though i guess if some internet guy was coming to visit me from far away he would be, since he used to be some internet guy to me.
