Reading your blog is a mixed bag with me. We're the same age, yet you are educated in all the ways I am not and wish to be. That makes me mildly jealous - something that I can fairly easily ignore. On the other hand, you are obviously a well-spring of information and recommendations when the time comes for me to educate myself in the ways I feel I am lacking. Then again, I look at what's already on my plate and how quickly I'm making progress and despair at ever reaching my goals - incredibly shortsighted of me, but knowing that doesn't help - and reading your blog generally tends to widen the perceived gap. I don't know. I often get the feeling that I unnecessarily complicate my life by jumping into things before I'm ready. Either way, you're a hell of a writer and I enjoy what you have to say and stand in awe of the sheer volume that comes out every other day or so.
