Thanks for your posts guys. As you could tell, I'm very distraught/was distraught. I'm considering transferring if it's possible. Most transfer deadlines are past now. I have an exam on Monday, so I'll deal with it after that. I was just hoping I could enjoy the couple free summer weeks I have a head of me, but it's looking like that's not going to happen. Gah, fucking a.

If you aren't happy there you should definitely try to transfer. Sometimes it's just not the right school for you. I don't know of anyone who transferred from my class but thejuanupsman had a friend who transferred after a dismal first year and it was a great move for him. He ended up at a school he loved and because the school was a better fit for him he ended up doing really well the next two years and got a really great job after school.

I wouldn't worry that much about law review. Lots of people who didn't get on it have gone on to do really great things. Also a lot of people who were on law review have gone on to have mediocre or dismal careers. Just focus on getting the most you can out of school and you'll be fine.
