alas, I have to go work right after the game. Damn ESPN. The only good thing is that my parents can now watch the game on TV in South Carolina. I have converted them from Bruins fans to Avalanche fans, it's pretty cool.
The Rangers are a team full of guys who are used to being the star of their team. They aren't used to playing with other guys as good as they are...so each of them will turn in a good performance, but they don't get it together.
I was scared of Lindros tonight, though. When he wakes up, he is an amazing player. Lucky for the Avs he didn't have a go-to guy in this game at all.
Were you at the game, or did you just watch it on TV?
Alex Tanguay scored just for me. I had just mentioned to the guy sitting next to me that I was in love with Tanguay, and then he scored.
i love that san quentin record.. my copy has a nasty little bubble in it though. makes it kind of distracting out of the corner of my eye. luckily it doesn't skip though.
well I think they play better right now because they put Forsberg back on center where he belongs, and because Patty Roy finally got his game back. not to mention they've put together some lines that produce. But don't you dare imply that they don't need Joe!!
ps: of course I mean #40. it's not like I've been meeting any other exciting men lately. but really I just felt like posting that quote. I like it.
next time you see him in a towel, yank it off real quick and take a picture for me I will find something to pay you back with. gawd. I need a job like yours.
Seriously, I really need to get paid for writing like, soon. I'm tired of being a waitress.
So I was at work tonight, and I was watching the game when it was tied 2-2. And I said to myself, "Come on Tanguay, it's time for you to score one for me." I went to the server station, filled my drink, and walked back by the TV as they scrolled "Goal: Alex Tanguay."
