Your profile pic makes me want to say 2001 Avalanche!!!!

Seriously, though, I might have to go with '72 Bruins. The last year they won the cup....

But man....Bourque, Sakic, Roy, Blake, Forsberg...does it get much better than that? The best goalie of all time, the top-scoring defenseman of all time, the guy that everyone's calling the best player in hockey today, not to mention Joe Sakic was #6 on NHL.com's top captains list, and Rob Blake just kicks ass. And then Drury and Tanguay were out there kickin' ass too....man they were so good.

I'm still thinking about this one, but I just wanted to chime in. I think any modern day team is immediately excluded.

Opinion:

With rampant trading and buying of Cups, no team in the last decade should ever be considered great, no matter how may talented players on the roster.

Thanks for filling me in on the California black plates. It cleared up one mystery for me but opened up another.

I'm not a vegetarian, but I'm ridiculously picky, and I rarely eat meat...what the 'H' is a chorizo anyway??? I think we should just eat cereal instead. confused

91-92 penguins.. the year they beat chicago 4 straight.
lemieux, francis, coffey, stevens, barrasso, mullen, and that young guy jagr.
i think they could have beaten the 84 oilers. even though i don't know if either the oilers or pens would stand up to some of those habs teams in the 70's.

Hi.
I met Alex Tanguay and Peter Forsberg last night.
I will have a journal entry on this later.
Suffice it to say, neither one proposed. Damnit. smile

Go join the SGColorado group.

Oh, and I'm putting you on my friends list.
