I just don't want to do anything today. I am still in my PJs. I woke up about an hour ago because I stayed up too late playing snood (6am...I know right?!) I don't know what my problem is.
Well, I will start with the Philly tattoo convention. SG didn't have a booth so I just went to go. A friend of mine came down to visit and we all went together. I really wanted to get a tattoo, but the guy I made an appointment with turned out to be a total flake. Seriously, what a dick. I put down a $50 deposit but ended up getting my money back.
A word of advice to any tattoo artists:
It is unbelievably rude to keep a client waiting while you make out with your girlfriend.
I made the appointment at 6:30pm. This guy told me he was ready for me at 9:30pm, and left 3 different times (cigarette, make out with gf, bathroom) but over a period of an hour and a half. The convention closed at 12am and he hadn't started drawing my design yet at 11pm.
I can't help sometimes but think that something is all in my head or I am exaggerating or whatever so I decided to give the guy a 2nd chance and came back the next day. I really liked his style. He was a good artist and he gave me the cheapest price. I went to his booth and spoke with a lady who told me she would send me a text message when he got back (surprise surprise he wasn't there). Instead of just waiting around with my thumb up my ass I kept walking by to check in and see if I could just speak with him directly. The last time I checked on him he still wasn't there and he had taken his banner down, which signaled to me that he was done with working the con.
So, after spending another $20 to get in just to give this guy a 2nd chance I was pretty fucking pissed off. My little bro came with me so he let me realize that the $20 wasn't THAT big of a deal and that he would drive me somewhere else to inquire about my tattoo. I made an appointment elsewhere (outside of the con) and got it done Wednesday!
Needless to say, it was worth the wait. This is just the outline. I will be getting it finished when I have some more money in May. I gotta catch up on my rent first! Ha! I spent the rent on a tatty! I had to do something nice for myself for once. I am really tired of handing out my hard earned money to everyone else all the time. Naw'mean? I'll make up for it.

I actually really like it. At first I just thought it was funny and silly but after giving the whole album a good listen I decided it was pretty good! I think Yolandi Visser is cute as hell, though my dude friends think she looks like an "albino ape"
