Yeah, I've had that happen sooooooooo many times to me. "Friends" that disappear when I needed them the most.

Scotty is right. Having to count on others at times sucks, but necessary. However, I'm sure that you are able to meet your own needs most of the time, so you can afford to ask for help (and be let down) from time to time and still have inner peace.
