me too! haha. her new cd is called "Impeach My Bush"... and I love her so much more for that. You should definitely try to get a copy of it... the song "Downtown" is really good.
for tonight? maybe. I suppose it was slightly random. I hadn't made plans on leaving you comments tonight but I hadn't planned on leaving anyone else comments either.
For real! I've been so ashemed of our politics for soooo long it's nice to have just a glimmer of hope. I almost wanna switch my GreenParty membership in for Dem today.......but not yet. Depends oh who they choose to run in 08.
Yeah, I'm pretty much a dem too because yeah we really only have two choices in this system. I'm registered Green more as a protest to the Dems I feel. I mean I really stand for most of what the Greens stand for but it is a futile party in America for sure. Only chance any Green has is in smaller branches of local governments. If the Dems get the balls to run Obama (spell?) I will switch in a heart beat.....maybe even if they try Hillary too. I got to think about that one though cause she's pretty much a centrist but she is, well a she which is pretty kick ass.
I may be able to help you but most of the ones I have are for collection purpose and not riding anymore. However I have a lot of trucks and wheels. You want a regular sized board for transpo or a long board? I may have a used old regular sized board but not a long board.
well, whatever the case may be, desidia he is a nice person who may or may not help me out with a skateboard. and if anyone is going to 'hit this' it will be monovox. lets bowl!
Haha that Desidia! Yeah the best place to get a deck is Cals skate. Your best bet is to get a blank deck ( as in no graphic just a color) which will run around $30-35 + grip tape. If you want a deck with pretty graphics it will be around $45-50 Trucks are pretty spendy at about $30-50 each. Wheels can go from $20-40. So if money is an issue I think I still have one deck that is usable that I would part with. I have some trucks that are generic but work just fine that I would part with as well. Wheels, I'm not so sure about. If you just wanna ride around you'll want some bigger soft ones so you don't get caught up on loose gravel and cracks plus they are much more quiet and nice on the feet. Harder smaller wheels are more responsive and lighter for tricks and whatnot. So yeah for the old deck and generic trucks, $15. Wheels, I'm not sure + it depends on what type. Oh yeah, speeking of bowling I'm gonna try to get a PDX bowling night going if I can revive the PDX group.
Yeah, I'll sport you the trucks ( you need 2 ) for sure. Cals skate is not the cheapest place but it's the most genuine. If you want cheap you can always go to Copeland sports downtown.
So do you remember our conversation or were you to high on the Ambian? Anyway, if so, did you get a skate? Did you still need a pair of trucks? Just let me know.
Hey, by the way I just took over the PDX group so if you want to come join in and help me try to make it fun again I would be happy to let you in. Just apply and it's done.
