Its really sad that the money they're not giving money to produce quality TV shows like Seasame St., is going towards more weapons.

The cuts in public broadcasting are part of an attempt by the White House to reduce the country's red ink as the administration seeks more money for the military and seeks to make Bush's first-term tax cuts permanent.

Instead of learning the alpahbet and develope critical thinking skills on TV what are they expected to watch now, the horror show that's the nightly news?

Very.

Was heartening to see people give Bush an enthusiastic "up yours" at the Coretta's funeral tho'. I trust she quite appreciated it.

Its the old Limellight club (its an old defunct church that still looks like a church). Its on 6th Ave. and 19th or 20th St. (somewhere around there). I went to see the Jim Rose Circus there on my 18th birthday. I feel old.

They re-opened it, and renamed it to Avalon. I'm under the impression its one of those ultra-trendy clubs.

Did some googling and it looks like they're starting to have concerts there. Mogwai is playing there in a couple weeks and its already sold out. Grrr!
