ooo I just listened and I think I like them..hmm..I have actually never heard of them even though Broken Social Scene is one of my bf fav bands at the moment (he just missed them play last Thursday and is very upset)
Glad to hear that they didn't disappoint
Anyway I am going to see Cat Power next Sunday and I am so very excited but, like you I am a tad worried..I have heard that she can be a bit flakey and has been known to walk out after 1 or 2 songs.
I hope your brothers girlfriend doesn't kill the snake
Funny, I walked out on Greg at the Explosions in the Sky gig. I suppose some music just doesn't mix with some people... I sold my ticket to Laneway after that, realising that there were at least few others who would've killed for what I had.
