yeah, it was about a quart low. my only thought is that they could turn the motor over, but it wouldn't fire, and when you do that, the Low Oil light was probably on, so they put ~a quart in it.
Jeez that's crappy. All that damage for just a deck. I had a deck stolen once, they looked through a LOT of CDs and decided they didn't like them nor my arnette sunglasses. It was a hundred dollar deck, they could've gotten more money for the discs. Sure would be nice if they find these guys.

Arrrrrgh! I don't mean that in the fun pirate way either, they really fucked your car up, and for what? A stereo? I wouldn't mind seeing these assholes winning Darwin Awards. I'd rather have someone walk up, demand the cash out of my wallet, scare the hell out of me and get on with it than fuck with my car. Its just frustrating to know how much red tape and silliness you'll have to work through to get this sorted out with insurance etc.
