Clean up the cut, then super glue the gash shut. It's my favorite method to make my hands functional again right away.

If it makes you feel better totally thought I gave myself a hernia this last weekend.. I like the video even though I'm not a wine drinker..
darkriver:
As a kid I was swinging on a rope when my cousin decided it would be fun to jump on me and swing too. As I got to the highest point of my arc, the rope decided to give way and I fell about 25 feet, landed on my back, and slid the other 30 feet to the bottom of the ravine. Did I mention my cousin was still on top of me? It took about an hour to dig all of the rocks and twigs out of my back and about three months to recover from the broken ribs.

Oh yeah, love I have a few bottles of wine that need opening...
martyn:
My favorite wine is Blanc de Noir Pinot Noir or Pinot Meunier. However, your video instruction is absolute gorgeous. love
catdad:
You are very cute. Thanks for the video. Champagne is about the only winish thing I like. Hope your finger stops bleeding quickly. I can't remember what I was trying to cut with a large kitchen knife on my cutting board, but I was pushing down with one hand on the handle and the other fingers on the end towards the tip. Of course, as I was angling it back and forth and applying pressure, my fingers slipped down over the tip, slicing one of them nicely. I think of that every time I put my fingers on the other end of a kitchen knife because something isn't cutting easily.
ron4164:
Nice video. smile

Hope the finger heals fast.
midnightman:
Once I tried separating frozen hamburgers with a kitchen knife and when they suddenly came apart as I was leaning on the stupid knife, I sliced a healthy slice of meat off the tip of my finger. The damn thing would not stop bleeding and my kitchen ended up looking like a multiple homicide crime scene. Oh happy day.

Anyway, I hope you feel better!

PS: I love Port wine
juddykun:
Yeesh! Sorry bout the finger! frown
Congrats on the new job though!!! biggrin
hodssorrow:
Ouch, my stupidest injury was probably when I went to take some sample flasks out of a 200*C oven and for some stupid reason tried using the hand not wearing a protective glove.

I have to say my favorite type of wine is cabernet sauvignon. As awesome and educational as your video is though its almost impossible to find a bottle in my country that uses a cork. pretty much every producer in New Zealand and Australia has switched to simple screw caps even for the most expensive labels.
stauffielicious:
awesome... i should go get a 6 pack sutters home smile good idea smile
klausbuben:
Awesome vid. Hope the finger is feeling better. I've injured myself stupidly way too many times to be able to pick out just one or two. Personal favorite wines: Cypher (Four Vines) Anarchy, Lone Madrone The Will.

Do you like your chardonnay oaky, or not?
sirin:
I like white Burgundies a lot.
hodssorrow:
It may have been karma but not long after I posted my last comment someone gave me a 12 year old bottle of wine that of course had a cork. I then had to go and buy a cork screw and watch your video again.
kryon:
These are some really helpful instructions
