The service industry has always held the prize for the least committed, hardest working and most lucrative. If you hate the idea of sitting in a cubicle doing element school busy work it also offers intense gossip, dramatic working tension and the most unfulfilled dreams of any other profession I've ever experienced. Of course those guys standing the side of the road with a cardboard sign probably sleep better.
