ah, that's cool that you're a project manager type. im hoping in ten years to move intoan office... i think, but then again i'd be giving up the 4 day work week if i did that.
yeah, it's sprinklers and fire hose cabinets mostly. we don't do any plumbing tho. It's pretty cool once you get into the different kind of systems that different buildings need. i was at one job where we were building a helicopter hanger, and one of the requirements of the thing was that the actually hanger had to fill up with a foam/water mix in like, 20 seconds or something. pretty crazy the pumps and the other equipment needed for that. but god damned. it's saturday.
i couldn't live without regular rain fall. texas would be too hot for this canadian.give me + 30 in the summer, and - 40 in the winter baby *celcius of course*
peace brother.
You should buy a house. Houses can be cheaper than rent sometimes too. Why you didn't think of buying a house when the rates were lower must mean you have a rich relative that will pay cash.. or you just grew up a little more recently.
The problem with a house is falling behind in payments can lose you the whole thing. Then its just like rent, only you have more to lose than just the current month's money.
We saw underworld 2 last night as well, and all of us did indeed agree that Kate Beckinsdale in leather pants was the prime motivator. It really wasn't much of a movie and would have been better with fewer dark gloomy castle shots and more half naked, dipped in rubber Kate.
