Sucks about your photographer It would be extremely hard to take your own sets without even an amatur photographer behind the lens.. I'm assuming you are implying snapping photos on timer?

The remote shutter would let me take them without a timer. I'd just make sure the hand that is holding the remote isn't in the shot

It is too bad. I have that exact setup you want. I would have to say you would be better off with a person behind the lense. It would be much easier to frame and get interesting angles with a photographer.

If I had a bit more model and portrait experience I would volunteer myself to do a set for you. I'm just not sure what kind of quality I could put out and wouldn't want to keep up your hopes. I am in the southern ontrario area though. Take a look at my profile. I have a few shots on there.
