I had an old Merc (got an old Lexus now - I like old cars), but I remember a few years ago I was using the delivery van all the time at work. It was a small business and I used to have to do a lot of the stuff myself. But when I got back into my Merc after a few weeks it felt like the smoothest quietest vehicle in the world. I can only imagine how much more extreme it must have felt for you to get back into your car after so many weeks behind the wheel of a big truck.

Thank you for commenting in my journal. smile It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who has a hard time putting my game face on when I get out of bed. It's nice to know I'm not entirely alone with how I think/feel...

I hope you're having a good day. biggrin

Aw, you know how to make a long-haired kitty blush!
My face is looking so much better already!
Thanks for the kind words re. my art. Writing is my point fort, followed by singing and live performance, so any supportive words mean the galaxy to me!

Some folks like living out of a van (down by the river?) doing expedite work for companies such as FedEx Custom Critical or Panther II. Just an FYI if you like being on the road but would prefer to do it in something smaller.

I've thought about it from time to time.

Is it us or is May just not a face-friendly month?
