Looks like we found an apartment! A cute one bedroom in falls church within walking distance of a metro station.
Now we just have to go through the whole credit check approval process. It's tax credited housing so there is both a minimum and a maximum that we can make per year in order to qualify for the lower price. A range we should easily fall in to.
The area is really cute and it is right down the street from this little independent coffee shop that I love. (Says the girl who works at starbucks.)
I figure I can work at starbucks and go work on my book there.
So cross your fingers for me!
We'll be taking Collette and Justin with us, which should be interesting. Collette thinks she is the QUEEN of the house, and Justin is just like "eh, whatever." So we shall see how the two of them live together when they are the only two pets and they aren't two out of six. Collette has been nicknamed "The Froofinator" or "Froofers" for short. She gets called "Froofers" more than she gets called Collette.
She still snores very loud but she can go down the stairs now and she just has the biggest smile when she's happy to see you.
Got a bunch of mens pajama pants today. That makes me happy. And some more work clothes. Yay for boring!
We had been hoping to get a two bedroom apartment so that we could have a room to set up as a sewing room/art studio, but this is just so convenient and infinitely more affordable.
It makes me sad when people tag sets "not a real sg." Jerks!
I am not a Dr. Who addict! Complete and utter! I caught an episode by accident so I decided to tape it whenever it comes on. So I am DVRing a lot of Dr. Who. I think I have a new favourite show!
So they have that new "second chance sunday" thing. I have no dream that this set will actually be picked up, but if you haven't seen it you should go look at it, and I want tags! Give me tags! It's the knitting set I took a few months ago.
