Vegas on Halloween...hmmmmm? dunno. Never been. Actually I've never hear of anything going on in Vegas during Halloween. You would assume there would be something fun to do. In LA you just have West Hollywood's & Hollywood blvds street parties. And then all the wonderful amusement parks have Haunted mazes you go through. Knotts Berry Farm is prolly the best for those.

i was in vegas for halloween once but it was for a wedding. so i didn't really get to participate in the proper level of debauchery. i am certain, however, that fun times are easily had in vegas, dressed as some sort of super-freak.
I did Vegas for Halloween one year, but we went to a house party...on the way out of the hotel, though, I was blown away to see the entire casino floor/bars in costume...everyone was in the spirit, so I can only imagine that it went off.
Aaaahhhhhh...nothing like a nice little tipple in the afternoon. How'd the interview go?
I'm not sure. I really want to go, but the 20th is the weekend of the Inkslingers Ball and on that night, Tattoomania (I had some work done by a guy there) does a big sidewalk BBQ/party at the shop. I'm kind of torn, so am going to wing it and see where I am when we get closer.
No SGLA anniversary dinner for you tomorrow? It's Indian food. Mmmmmmmm.....
I was just in Vegas. It is at the same time a way cool electric wonderland and little slice a hell on earth.
My advice if you go:
Even if you don't stay someplace super ritzy (I sure as hell didn't), spend your time in and around the nice hotels in the strip. The further I got from the there the fatter and older people got.
Be ready to spend money on food and entertainment. this might be a duh, but I was sort of expecting cheep food and shows because other people told me that they made all the money on gambling and so other stuff was cheap. I didn't find that to be true.
If you gamble have fun doing it because you will prob lose your money. I did at least. : )
anyway, I expect you could have a rockin' time and halloween sounds like a great time to go.
Congrats on the job... LA has some pretty hellaciously cool halloween action (including a really badass costume party I know of), and may top out Vegas - but I'm sure you'll come up with something cool wherever you are...
