So, how does one of my craziest nights ever go? Something like this!!

So the new boy Steve calls, come gets me and we stop at his friend's place to have a few drinks before Larissa's birthday/Hovi's show that night (he's the bassist in some pretty mediocre local band; we came out for support). 7 or so drinks later we finally take off, hop in the box of Marty's truck and head downtown. Just as we came in, Eric the Red's band was playing---> "Rock Truck" and I just missed them! Met up with him later on and we had a few drinks, played some pool and hung out. Found more people, watched Hovi's band, and then somehow took off down the street to Jack's. Not even really sure what we were doing there...I think some fooseball was involved. Oh! And, the best thing ever, I ran into Dan-o, this guy I haven't seen in nearly a year! He's just as awesome as I remember, and we caught up on old times; i asked him if he could tune my Djembe sometime, and he gave me his number and a note saying "Saturday, 11am"...Did we settle on this time? Not a clue what that means, so I suppose I'll have to call him and make sense of all that business....I hate memory lapse while drinking...
So after that we piled in another truck and drove to the house Larissa is watching. Steve and I were given a room to crash in, not just any room, but one belonging to an 8 year-old...pink and purple shit eeeeverywhere, the bed was FULL of stuffed animals, I think we spent 5 minutes alone just taking them off to make room. Definitely woke up not feeling too great and I lost one of my tunnels that we spent forever looking for...cleared out stuff from under the bed to look, found a huge box of dres-up stuff and all this crazy madness...remembering times of when I used to be that young! We finally got someone to come get us and then I had to rush to get ready for Easter Dinner, which was incredibly tiring to say the least.

So, the wedding reception is on. My co-worker's best friend Jess just married the guitarist Joel from Killswitch Engage (long story short: Killswitch came here last year to play, stayed with Jen and Jess, and the rest is history). They're coming up here from Boston for the reception where Jess's parents are, and I have been invited to attend -- a metalhead wedding reception...can't wait. It should be pretty awesome, and I get to rock my black and white dress!! (my one and only dress...and I'll admit, it looks amazing...)

And probably the best news lately, I got my exam mark from Literary Theory and Criticism, my favourite/most difficult course. 85%!!! I studied for maybe 3 hours the night before, slept very little, expected a 70 maybe...and came out with an eighty-fuckin-five. Not the best mark ever, but it will help out my average, and I therefore am ecstatic.
