i had an interview yesterday in Prenton and i've got another one tomorrow in Childwall. i'd rather just have the job from yesterday's interview and start tomorrow. Childwall is a pain in the ass to get to from my house, as i'm sure you know. blergh, if i can't even be bothered going to the interview (but i will go), that's not a good sign. i might be blown away by the place when i get there. and they film Hollyoaks there, so i'll get to see those girls all the time, hehe.

that was bizarre. just had that job interview at Mersey TV. their head office is in the police station, just across from Grange Hill, just past the police helicopter which has crash-landed on a Fiesta by a petrol pump. saw a few blonde Hollyoaks berds too, but i don't watch it enough to know their names. interview went pretty well. i was asked to tell them the last big thing i did. WHACK. book on desk. impressed faces all round (there was 3 of them, and i swear i recognised one berd from Crosby). i'll hear by wednesday.

OK...so my band THE WEEKEND is trying to plan a US tour for the month of NOVEMBER...if anyone can help me out with some contacts (ie. promoters, venues, etc.), that would be awesome. Even opening slots for good local bands is fine with us. Money is not really and issue. We just wanna' TOUR! Any help would be amazing. We aren't well known in the states as of yet.....but we wanna' work our way in. Thanks
