i got your cd/christmas card in the mail last nite!! (well rob took the mail to work with him, technically it arrived yesterday morning. thanks!! there are some songs that i really like on there. and the drawing on the cover knocked my socks off. so funny. i like the wise men's facial expressions.
tipsy eve is a 'holiday' i'd never heard of before i met rob. apparently, in newfoundland, the day before christmas eve is the day they send all the men out to get drunk, so that they'll be somewhat sober before christmas morning. seems logical to me. i guess i should've explained that in my journal, but i was in a rush. so i decided to explain it only to whoever asked.
those are some good resolutions. we had telescopes to sell (in the vision center at work--- cross merchandising... walmart... ugg ). they sold like hotcakes. even the display one. they were this huge thing made by Tasco, and they cost about $300. i guess it was a good deal, thats what i was told. i don't know much about em, i just sell em.
i think you are being a little too harsh on people buying food for the holidays. you can't honestly tell me that you are fasting tomorrow. we all eat like pigs at christmas. and food isn't always something you can buy well in advance. not like presents. you go see all the people buying random leftover crap at walmart because they waited til the last second to buy gifts, THAT'LL make you mad.
hmmm... i guess there is a good chance that the people where you work and the people where i work are the same people.

Yes...people are dumb. I used to work in a gas station...sure they all mocked me because I was some "dumb" 16 year old kid working there but I even knew better than to buy lottery. I think you are smarter than about 98% of the population.
