My mom wants to put my dog down. She said she thinks she's suffering since she's not eating anymore and thinks it's the best thing to do.
I've always been against this. But I can't imagine her starving to death...
What is the right thing to do?

My mother had a dog that she let suffer. It was miserable. When my dog started to suffer, I had her put down. Held her the entire time. It was heartbreaking, but I can say without question that it was the best choice.
