Saving Silverman, well, it's kinda centered around Neil Diamond. Certain characters are huge neil diamond fans, and they even have a neil diamond cover band, if your a really big fan of his, you might get some of the jokes, but even if your aren't it's hilarious. Worth the 4 bucks to rent it.

i do have a sheepdog. his name is shamus. my dad bought him from a really mean breeder in iowa. i live in IL. when he came home his wonderful white fur was stained with urine...it was way gross. he was being raised to be a show dog but he broke a toe when he was 9 weeks old. the owners didnt want anything to do with him. he rocks so hard.
we just found out that he has really bad hip displacya(sp). he is only 5 years old but looks and walks like he is 15. its really really sad. his vet says that both his parents probably had it b/c it is so bad. you arent supposed to breed dogs with hip displacya(sp). it makes me really sad to think that he is in pain and there is nothing i can do to help. he takes medicine every day, but time is catching up with him.
he is totally funny, and awesome, and sexy, he isnt cute, he is fucking sexy. we shave him b/c he likes to run in the mud and get all nasty and dirty, its just easier, but i swear every time he comes back from the groomer he looks at himself in the mirror and cries. my grandma and one of my aunts both have sheepdogs...my mom has had them forever...best dogs in the history of the world...end of story.

I know that I should comment about the books you mentioned, but I really want to here about SINGAPORE! The Far East, The Orient, Land of Mystery! lol Tell me more. What took you there? I grew up in Germany, but have always wanted to explore the Far East. My Mom and brother live in Japan now, and I am looking forward to my first visit there.

things have been looking up for me...sorta maybe got back together with someone i thought I lost forever..she's a doll.
i am presently scrubbing my kitchen and then taking Sweetpea out foir a walk at the dogpark..I hope that nasty bastard dog isn't there when I go. 2 times this dog has bitten my dog, and two times has bitten me....i told his owner that next time his dog gets a broken neck well the first time he bit my dog, my dog thought he was playing and wasn't redy, the second time the dominance dance started and his dog bit mine on the shoulder and chest.. then my dog grabbed him by the face and neck and did the usual bulldog thing , I got right in the middle and got him off, nd when I separated the dogs , the other one came acrooss 15 ft. and bit me on the forearm! At that point I sid "fuck it" and dropped the lesh and my dog (seeing me get bit) bull rushed him into the ground and kicked his mongrel ass but good...Some people were alrmed I did tht , and said i needed to discipline my dog (!) yeh right discipline him for doing his job protecting me the dude. Fuck that! any way.
