Neil Diamond is the best. i grew up listening to my folks listen to it. Porcupine Pie is just as good as Diamond on the Souls of my Shoes in the nonsense song department!
Not to mention that I want to swim the Gulf Stream (or whatever Stream it was) with the Turtle Clan!
The Island of the Day Before and Baudilino are his two newest. I could not even read one paragraph of The island, with out using a dictionary. And even then I was lost becasue his words are not alway in the dictionary! lol
Have you read any Truman Capote? His early autobiograhical stuff is the best. The later socialite books like Breakfast at Tiffanys are not up my alley.
Re: good animated movies, Toy Story and TS 2 are my favorites. Randy Newman did a great job on the music and I actually cared about those damn little toys! lol
I'm confused about stupid girl problems, as is always the case. Everything is just...not how I wanted it to be. But that's the way it is and I can't make it change.
The mowhawk got turned orange for Halloween and has stayed that way ever since. I really like it this way. I think I'll keep it for a while.
Hey sweetie! I agree totally!! .. i lurved that movie.. it was so cute. I love 3d animation movies by dreamworks! they are always so well done! did you ever recieve the little package i sent you btw?? i sent it ages ago!! hmm.. hope it didn't get lost in the post!!

so totally out of the blue i heard that the crystal method is playing tonight at this pretty cool club in denver! and the best part is that my really cool friend offered to work my morning tomorrow! so i don't have to be at work till noon and that's a good thing considering crystal method doesn't even go on till 11 - i know, lame, but i have to get up at 5:30 for work, so . . .
now, what to wear? if only my friend siara didn't live half a world away - i know she could hook me up w/a killer anime get up. sigh.
well, i'll tell you all how it went later this weekend.
cheers,
Neil Diamond huh? well you should see Saving Silverman, which you probably already have, but you should see it again, Jack Black, R. Lee Emory, Steve Zahn, and Jason Biggs, funny, funny, twisted, funny movie.
Finding Nemo was very good, I was choking back the tears...
