Music Journalism has always been what I've wanted to do as my career of choice, which is why I decided to become an English major and break into the world of writing. I really do need to be much more productive with publishing what I write. Whether morbid short stories, screenplays or reviews of albums I love/hate, concert reviews and such....I definitely need to get my thoughts and opinions out there. Possible cause a little controversy and debate about what is considered to be talent within the music industry today. I'm hoping to write about new music that is impacting people and acquiring a growing fan base everyday.

Many writing gigs require that you have a blog with a certain amount of subscribers, or a twitter with numerous followers or even facebook with a bunch of friends so I'm hoping you guys can really help me out and SUBSCRIBE to my blog!! I swear it's not a horrible read and I would appreciate any comments negative or positive about my writing, you can also rate what you honestly think of it. But if you do decide to trash it, at least let me know how you think I can improve so I actually learn something of worth.

So far I've only written about Pearl Jam, The XX and Lykke Li but I intend to write about all kinds of interesting artists that are slowly gaining attention for their talent. If you have any recommendations, please let me know. I'm really interested in what other people are listening to all over the globe. I want this blog to incorporate all kinds of foreign artists and little known bands.
