cruella -- that's the best part of living in SF, everyone here is transplanted from somewhere else, so not many people have family nearby. thanksgiving was really cool because we basically just invited everyone we knew with no family and there wasn't all of the usual family politics crap that's generally involved with the holidays, haha.
em -- me too! all of the stores downtown are so pretty, and i love the ice skating rinks that they set up around the city. when i lived in florida, it was too hot for outdoor skating rinks, so i think they're really awesome.
