1.I got to interview Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath guitarist) yesterday for French Guitar Part magazine which was fun.

(dude in the back center)

Nice guy but he didn't have very sharp opinions on anything...
It's so fucked up to be talking to people who are like "oh you know my old pal Jimmy (Page) and I were just chilling.." biggrin

2.I've been in the studio recording a lot which is both tiring and fun. The record is coming to an end which means only good things to come from now on!

I love pro tools

That's the twin to my les Paul!

This picture has a Mariah Carey feel to it... Sorry puke

3. SG France picnic was a few weeks ago, I got to meet lots of lovely people. Mademoiselle is absolutely awesome, Goop is both sexy and funny; Turns out I knew SG Anne-Claire from a few years back and yes she's awesome as well, Scentauri is very nice as well and of course SupaUgly our official Photographer wink the list goes on... Go to their journals for pictures...

4. We went for a concert at Le Toucquet which ended up in a ridiculous night of smoking and boozing on the ride home in the tourbus.

THis is my guitarist and his Dj's new game: They bought some very expensive electric cars, attach their cameras to the top and drive it around on stage during rehearsals while filming... The result is very amusing...

5. I'm so fucked right now for accomodation in london. I'd inadvertently replied an advert from a girl I knew from Jitsu who basically made me believe I was going to be able to move in (at which point I stopped searching for anything else and refused all other offers). The place was perfect, I could afford the rent and I knew her. Anyhow she told me that actually her and her flatmate choose some random stranger from internet. I'll let you imagine the state I was in when I got the mail about that...
mad frown blackeyed EL SUICIDO LOCO mad

I'm better now but I'm still insanely angry at them for leading me on for so long and I need to find a place presto which isn't going to be easy as I'm in Paris and I can't visit...

6. I went to the first day of Rock en Seine Festival (just outside of Paris) which despite the rain and teeming drunken idiots was fun. And hey I used some Jitsu on a stupid prick who started grabbing me in the crowd! Good times (well for me..)!

The Subways were very good, It was great to see a bassist chick who wasn't just trying to look hot. They put on a great show.

Flying Pooh was ...well..Funny! lol not what I expected, pretty good and hilarious singer though the rest of the band should feel a little bit more concerned about being on a stage.

Queens of The Stone Age Yes it rocked, Josh Homme is THE dude..

The Pixies were a huge dissapointment.. Just no interraction with the crowd, everything was so lifeless. I don't care if they're monsters of rock, I expect some proof of it in a live show...

They need to go away...
As should..

...Indy music. I can understand liking it but it's just not my thing I guess, whatever happened to rock'n'roll?

just chilling out at the Festival...

Tell me about a band/musician whose first records you disliked and that you know appreciate and vice-versa?

1 - that's cool. what kind of things didn't he have an opinion on?
his new solo record came out in july, yet i got to interview his FRIEND glenn hughes (who sings on that album) instead of himself. i found it so odd. LOL.

3 - wish i was there smile

5 - this sucks!!! i hate it when i rely on people for something (and even something big) and then they do something stupid, fuck everything up, and leave ME in deep shit... so,i feel for you.

6 - QOTSA sucked bad when i saw them in italy in september

by the way - ciao, i just stumbled into this, and i thought i'd drop a comment smile

You're gonna love this . . . I initially didn't like the Beatles. Didn't think they'd last 6 months! I was totally into traditional rock 'n roll at the time . . . the Beach Boys were my gods. But then I started listening to their music, and went to this concert . .

Well, as you might imagine, after that I gained an entire new perspective on the Beatles.
