President eh? Erm... "Friday I'm in Love" The Cure: because it's happy and cheerful, and it's a weekend song. And it's on my stereo now, as I'm about to go away for the weekend. It'd subdue the masses.

Hey everyone looks so cold in that first pic. You look really good in those pics with Robert.
My fav guitarists? ok: Classical: Chris Parkening; Ragtime/Acoustic: Leo Kottke; Celtic/Renaissance: John Renbourne; Jazz: Tuck Andress (Tuck & Patti); Country: Grady Martin; Swing & Acoustic: Laurence Juber (Wings); Blues: Stevie Ray Vaughn; Flamenco: Carlos Montoya; Rock: Van Halen, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, & Me; Slide: Jeff Carlisi (.38 Special) Metal: Michael Schenker; Punk: No one (its too easy to play) (haha) I teach all these styles to my students (like 60 per week). They keep me on my toes.
I'm like the resident master of Celtic guitar here (and alternate tunings stuff), even though I'm Italian (haha)
I tried to find your guys band but the page you sent was just a picture, very cool though, that is absolutely amazing that they played with the cure, they must be really good!
I love the cure, thats so nice you got to meet him
thats freakin awesome that you thought that...camus is the shit, i love his work...i read the fall in english first (i cheated) but later in french, call it hindsight bias, but i do think i understood it as i progressed in my studies. la peste (pour la premier fois, en francais) is next, je pense.
francaise a la couer, mais seulment americaine mon clavier n'est pas configur pour des caractres francophones., quel dommage!
Hi, thanks for your comment in my journal! Oddly enough, I was listening to Pretty Hate Machine as I clicked onto your page, spooky coincidence as I read down to see your journal entry point 2!
I see from your other entries this month that you really are a keen wee jitsuka. Sei otoshi can be a tricky one indeed, as can Tei Otoshi I find. Interesting also to note the proliferation of diverese transliterations that are used when converting from the original Japanese - every club uses a different one eh? Is your club the one at University College London then? Affiliated to TJF I guess? My club was/is based in Edinburgh - Sensei Paul is presently setting up the new website here (he's a PHD software wizard in his day job) which you can view here if you like. Edinburgh Jitsu Club
We were affiliated to the Scottish Jiu-Jitsu association - a slightly different sylabus and grading structure to yours. Since I've been living back in England it's been difficult to find a equally good club near to where I live though (Staffordshire) which is rather disappointing. Ho hum. Do you have any trouble with your navel/lip piericing when doing ground fighting & stuff?
I see a lot of cool stuff you've uploaded in the last couple of weeks - you've been very busy! A lot of cool pics, I like you Les Paul . Would be interested to hear more about your bands - do you have a website?
Anyway, look forward to reading more about your various and well-documented goings-on, friend request sent, btw.
