I am glad to hear she is in good spirits and is on the road to recovery, and glad your family was there for each other, it puts a smile on this guys face smile

top of the feet hurt like a bitch!, way to go biggrin
buddha:
She will be ok, it was just some complications with the previous 'incident' . she just has needs quite a bit rehabilitation
scatmonkey:
Glad to hear all went well, and that you had your family with you. smile

Meetings are designed by people with either more patience or tolerance than me. I can't deal with explaining anything more than twice. Less so if I have to explain technical terms while I'm explaining what it is I'm trying to accomplish.

This was not the case today, however, as all that took place was me filling in some blanks (DNS, subnets, DHCP reserves, workgroup names, OpenLDAP configs, blah, blah, blah) and then lectured to about how I was to implement changes.

I have to ask; couldn't they just sent me an email? It more efficient and I don't have to loose half a day in a small conference room with men who can't seem to control their gas expulsions.

Oh, nice tat, BTW. Top of the foot... Ow...biggrin

smuffy:
Hi Mr Box!!!

I'm sorry to hear your mom had health troubles but I'm happy to hear that she is doing well.

I'm even happier to hear that YOU are in good spirits. Cool tattoo on the feet---interesting idea. What is it going to end up being?
goodlordyshorty:
I'm so glad to hear your mother is doing well! Your whole family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Thanks so much for your kind words in my journal (or hugs I should say), it meant alot! Nice going on the new tattoo, it looks great. Have a great weekend. kiss
homewrecker:
Sorry to hear about your mother. Glad that things sound like they are on the up and up though.

Neat tattoo. Did that turn out to be a particularly painful spot to get one, or was it alright?
cheech:
Heya, I'm just poaching over from Eden's Journal... wow, first I wanna say glad to hear your mom's doing okay. Secondly, my fave lady in the whole world is also getting an octopus on her leg, and has characters on her back from your first book up there, Sendak's Max, Emil, Moishe, and Max's lil dog... plus she has a Little Prince not unlike SG's Morgan... so it's cool to see all that zeitgeist going on.
chi:
Ouch on the foot! Props from me my friend....

I really like it btw...
the_mad_monk:
glad you're your mom is doing good!!!

so who's getting the tatt? you?
jovanka:
Oh damn, not on the FOOT! You hardcore baby!

And you're damn right about Gene Simmons!!
dragonflycq:
Aww...they're not so bad. wink

There's an SG on here who's got an octopus on her foot too...yet I can't seem to find her again....if I find it, I'll post it.

So what do you have to say about the pain on the foot? Many I've talked to who have had their feet done says it hurts like hell...but mine was a piece of cake....?
squire:
Glad moms is coming through this. smile

I don't know whether I would say I prefer "chick" or "man" movies. I generally don't like 1) lots of computer effects, 2) sequels, 3) comic books... having said that, I would accompany someone else to Hellboy and I liked the first XMen okay.
I've seen my share of "chick" films, favoring the dialogue over the big-explosion-while-principle-characters-yell-"AAAAHHHH!!" I suppose I try to avoid Julia Roberts, if that helps.
I generally avoid Jim Carrey too, but coldengine might be right; this new one has some interesting people working on it.

I generally build up hatreds of movies I don't think I'll like, sometimes to an silly degree. While at my friend Chuck's once, he was picking Waiting to Exhale at the video store, since his wife and this other woman wanted to see it. I pitched a fit worthy of a 7-yr-old (I was 25) and he basically said, "Look, dude, we're at my house and we wanna see this." And he was right, of course. Irony was, I thought it was okay, everyone else thought it sucked.
