I've been in catch up mode this week myself (last Monday was "Family Day"... well, my sister came over to burn some mix CDs). Sorry to hear about your insurance woes, but you know the cliche; it could have been worse, right?
Try to enjoy your weekend. There are't enough long weekends in the year to make up for all the long weeks.
Didnt't you mother ever tell you that its dangerous to run with scissors Again, i just want to voice my concern and say that, at least you are ok. you can replace a truck, but not a dharmabox
me again.
self-timed a 200 breaststroke in a long-course meters pool this morning at 3:50. converted it to short course yards online (3:23.55) and gonna put down 3:25 for my seed time for the meet i'm doing in baltimore on march 6 and 7. for reference's sake, the one year i swam competitively, i started the swim season (fall 1993) at 3:11 and ended (feb 1994) at 3:01.
self-timed = no dive...warm pool...blah blah blah.
ooh look! you have IM! why didn't i think of this before?
wow. only an hour or two? if thats all the time you have either we are only going to be able to get the layout (me drawing it on you) and the bloodlining done...bloodlining is for things that arent going to have thick black outlines. it is either thats all we do, which is fine with me if you want to do that (i would probably need about an hour and a half...maybe a little less) or we can find a day when you have more time. this peice is probably going to take at least 2 , 3-4 hour sessions if its going to look godd and realistic. so if you break it down to shorter sessions then there are going to be more of them and you have to wait at least 2 weeks between sessions.
its up to you. we can work it however you want to! let me know, ok?
we cna do whatever you want! my day is open. if you want to get the bloodline done thats cool...im looking forward to whatever we wind up doing. it may be better to have shorter sessions anyways cause thats a hard area to take tattooing on for very long at one time...pain-wise. so, we'll still go for tomorrow at noon...stick to that and if i dont hear from you then i will know you will be there!
I've just been busy--i've been thinking about you, but sadly, too lazy to actually type a-something up to let you know. But i'm here now. Hope things look up and flow easy for you as Spring warms things back up. Here's a poem wrote last year, but it's good every Spring.

Tonight, you weary traveler, slumber
The full moon rises; Nights begun
Gone are Winters somber umbers
For Springs seduction of the Sun
Tempts the light to linger longer--
Starts the warming of this world
Bringing breezes, blowing stronger
caress the budding branchs curl
and dreams of love become unfurled.
Resist for long that sirens song?
A dreamer cannot choose
For in the realm where dreams belong
Shell shake all warm thoughts loose--
Released like totems of desire
Float to the starry veil of night
or rising Phoenix from the pyre,
a radiant trail of shimmering light
to move the stars. Perhaps surprising;
Your soul was touched without realizing.
Such dreams as these be tender treasures.
Lovely longings here provided
In this sanctum of sacred ledger
All paths ring trueFates undecided.
To heart, you take your minds delights;
Weave them deep inside your soul
with warp and weft of Love and Light
Your conscious self with dawn beholds
The wishes dreamed, encased by faith
that Spring renews loves gentle grace.

The Trump29 Casino was really nice, Vegas style-but no roulette and no craps. Boo...those are my favorites. In all, i lost maybe $100...over 4 hours, that's not bad. I only ever expect to tread water, never win the big jackpot. I did play 20 bucks on the $5 slots...won about $50 in 1 pull. I would have stayed the night out there, but for whatever reason, they didn't build a hotel in the Casino grounds.
We're sitting at rubbing up against 50°F. Which in Calgary in February feels like summer. We opted for the pub, which is 10 minutes away by foot, as the Cherry is a piss-hole, usually filled to overcapacity with young, stupid aggressive little suburban whitey homeboys, and 30 minutes away by car.
We only went for one drink, then went home to try to figure out how to rearrange everything for the furniture we're going to buy with my tax refund.
All in all, a weekend so dull, it could be on early Sunday morning television.
Hey dude. Yes they stopped by on the way north and...well read my Thursday entry for all the detales!!! she's probably embaressed, and is in hiding. that's the way she deals with things a lot of times, waits for things to blow over then pretends it never happened!!!
sorry the accident stuff is getting you down. try and enjoy the weekend at some point.
