I'm feeling better today. For the life of me, I can't say what brought on my feelings of despair yesterday. It was overwhelming, and I've never felt anything like it at all.
I picked up an all-in-one printer/fax/scanner the other day at a yard sale (I love going to yard sales - there's some nifty stuff out there to be had). I honestly didn't expect the thing to work at all, given that it was at a yard sale, and the price was only $15. But I bought it anyway. This morning I've been fooling with it, and after downloading the drivers for it, it works pretty good. It's out of ink (which I expected), but the scanner and fax work just peachy.
Well, okay, the scanner's strictly b&w, and it's a bit on the grainy side, but hell, what do you want for $15? I'm not complaining. And besides, I plan on buying a good scanner in the near future anyway. Still, cheap treasures make me happy.
Nothing much else up with me. I've got a couple of care packages all ready for my baby, and I finished writing her a long letter this morning, too. I'm gonna get them in the mail tomorrow. Hopefully she'll call tonight. I can hardly wait to hear her sweet voice again, and let her know how much she means to me.

Thanks for the message. It so nice hearing you talk about your `baby` and writing her a long letter. You must miss her. And you must be quite romantic. That`s lovely.
