I'm glad you get to hear from her. Don't worry, the Republicans are starting to push for withdrawal. They are starting to worry about the next elections.
I hope she stays safe.
subrosa:
I hope for all of our sakes that they send her and her comerades home soon too.

Is she in combat areas?
pmonkeyesquire:

And Dubya's a douchebag.
vaux:
Dear Deux,

You remind me of the first crush that I ever had, oh so many, many years ago. Please be generous in accepting my proposal to be, simply, my friend, so that I may retain the wondrous feelings that you stir within me when I gaze upon your picture.

I also agree with bringin' 'em home. Enough's enough.
vaux:
My only regret is that you'll never be able to hear how dreamy the sigh was when I clicked "approve" tongue
subrosa:
My lord. My best to her then. And of course, I understand why you can't go into more detail. I wouldn't want you to, really.

It's just an awful situation all around and I'm thankful that I haven't been personally touched by it yet. My heart goes out to all of those who have been. frown
brankauti:
Amen to that. I pray that they come home every day. I am glad you got a letter. *hugs*
hijames69:
Happy for you! biggrin
revolutionartist:
Wow sexy and political.

I wish I had faith that the troops would be coming home soon that somehow what is happening in New Orleans would lead to a massive withdrawl but I think that unfortunately is just hope.

All we can do is continue to work, to activate and agitate until we have a better world.
corsair:
Cool adaptation! How the hell you know about Boxtop is beyond me . . . . that song came out in the mid 60s!

I'm with you . . . bring them home . . Now!
corsair:
That's very cool! My appreciation for you just went up a bunch!

I also have several of the Beatles original albums on vinyl . . but now I no longer have a turntable to play them on.

I don't know if I ever mentioned this . . . but I was at this concert:

Far out, huh?

Also playing that night were The Circle (Red Rubber Ball), and Bobby Head (Sunny). I can't remember who else performed . . but it was a memorable if not historic night!
