Well, I remember your screen name and picture and that you're a smart and interesting guy. Since the dog presumably ate all your blogs, there's nothing to refresh my memory, which I have to confess is most impressive for its shortcomings. Anyway, welcome back and eventually something will come to me. BTW, you will love how old posts in groups are gone forever insofar as they are impossible to access on this new site. By old I mean days or weeks depending on the thread. We are as the mayflies now. So what's not to like about this new site? :P

I deleted all my old posts. Wanted a fresh start. I deleted all my social media, as well (unless you count this). I may re-blog some of the stuff I posted some day (the satirical articles and anything else I thought was "noteworthy" are all saved on a hard drive).

Please do not get carried away with that fresh start idea. If you cut off your head, all the willpower in the world will be insufficient to regenerate a new one. I know you didn't mention that as a possibility but I bring it up just to avoid feeling enormous guilt and regret if it should come to pass. 😍

I regret nothing. As I said, if it was something near and dear to me, I kept it safe. Otherwise, I don't feel particularly upset or guilty for getting rid of it. I kind of feel liberated, actually.
