Those are all some snazzy photos Heh, and thanks for the almost vote, anyways wink It was actually taken at an old mans house that had been abandoned up in the mountains in Colorado.
dr_u:
all I did was put up a couple preview pages, and a very basic gallery that took me about ten minutes total. I didn't consider it a job, especially since I was contacted by who I believed was a friend who asked me if I would do them a favor. I spend some of my free time building sites and trying to learn coding so I could build more and more complicated sites. I design for fun and actually enjoy reading about coding. So it was no big deal to me.
I was more upset because of the way this guy approached me about the site and more importantly, the fact that he apparently duped this girl into a compromising situation and then had her sign away all of her rights. That angers me because it makes all photographers look bad. I went off on the guy just so he'd know that at least one person thought what he was doing wasn't cool. I wrote about it more as a warning to aspiring models than for anything else.

later, I dig the symmetry in the one I think is called mam_4, I also like the one called belmont. Based on the stuff I saw, it looks like you're having fun taking photos and that's more important in my book. Keep shooting, and having a good time and you'll be fine.
I know that my work isn't the greatest and I've never said that it was, but I'm still learning and practicing and what is more important to me, just enjoying the art and practice of taking pictures again. I know that I'll get better but I'm not as concerned about that like I used to be. For a while I was working in general family portraiture and it just drained me and I hated even picking up a camera. Joining SG has slowly started me back into even having the desire to get back behind a camera because it seems like people who are submitting are doing this for the sheer enjoyment.
The photos that I was given were a bunch of vid caps from a VHS camera and was looked like a nervous girl being pushed in front of a camera and pressured into doing something she wasn't comfortable with and that pissed me off becaused I think that is the opposite of what that experience should have been for her and what photography is all about. It might seem corny or hokey, but that is how I think a photo shoot is supposed to do be conducted. I'm going to check your stuff out after I finish this, but I hear what you are saying. I'll help anyone who I consider a friend with any project they have if they ask.

Glad I can impress; that increases my hopes that I'll be able to support myself as an artist and maybe I won't have to marry an aging millionaire and then have him killed. Maybe I'll still do it for fun though. kiss
