I saw Silent Hill on Friday, when it came out.

I really liked it a lot. I can't understand why people say it was so horrible. In terms of video game movies like "Street Fighter" (and the subsiquent game port.... "Street Fighter: The Movie - The Game" ) this was a really well done film.

Sure the acting was pretty cheesey at points, but the visuals, music, and presentation were all great, IMO.

I have yet to see some solid arguments about the movie truly being horrible.
