So far, its been watching "The Shining" and thoroughly analyzing the changes in moods that are made with the aid of music- as well as analyzing *what* in music (in general) are the things that work/dont work, what are the things that music is made of, the structure, the texture, how the basic rules of drama apply to the rules of music and how with all this knowledge music can be used in our work as well....Im so hooked up. I just sit there with my mouth open and my eyes shining and stare at the lecturer....this is the best course Ive been to since ages back.
Mr de Moivre! I have recently been studying your theorem regarding complex numbers and polar form.
I also have been thinking about getting a whiteboard, but instead I bought some sticky back plastic and will be covering a huge piece of hardboard with it (a la Blue Peter) and hanging it up, so that I too can scribble equations all over the place.
Dude, a white board! thats awesome. When I own a house its gotta have 5 things: a pool table, beer and soda on tap, a saltwater fishtank in a wall, a giant bathtub and a blackboard. I love doing calculations on my walls with colored chalk...my roomate unfortunately doesn't appreciate it.
