before i forget i want to start off by saying that the first thing that popped into my head when i woke up was the Leonard Cohen's song Famous Blue Raincoat. I dont know why. but the strange thing was that when i got on the computer, and i started up my media player, i have it on an ever random shuffle of all the music that's on it....the second song it played (after Nada Surf's Sea Knows When) was Famous Blue Raincoat. i think that's kinda spooky...i dont know what that's trying to tell me. *shrug*

last night i went to the watch party and post debate rally for Kerry at Tempe Town Lake. it was cool except for that all us poor people who printed our tickets online, were herded into a seperate area, while the volunteers, and those who got their tickets at the democratic offices got the choice seats where they could see the screen and see the stage mad
where i was there was only standing room, and i kept having to move my head cause tall people kept standing in front of me. the screen was big, but it wasn't secure at the bottom and kept flapping in the breeze.
then when the foo fighters played (four songs whatever ), they played in the special roped off area, where we could only see them on the shitty screen, with a shitty sound system. i'm not a fan of the foo fighters at all...
so of course we couldn't see Kerry at all either except for on the huge flapping screen. i really hoped to get a picture of myself with kerry, i thought i could maybe get some major army points cause i was wearing my SG tank tongue
but alas, he didn't even come near us. he acknowledged us, all of the few hundred people who were out there just daining to shake his hand.
alot of us stayed long after his (pretty brief) speech, in hopes that he'd walk down and maybe give us a chance to shake his hand or whatever...nope.
but i did see a friend of mine from high school, Rosemary Smith. she was two years under me, a sophomore when i was a senior. she was my first bad girl in training. i loved here, she was very naive, but already questioning some of the retarded things she'd been brought up with... she had some great potential. it was encouraging to see her at the rally. she's probably 18 now, she just graduated this past may.

after the rally Roland and i went to applebee's and i got a sex on the beach, and it was fucking awesome!!!! i could have sucked down a couple more, but i only drank one.
after that we went through Walmart and i bought (though i really really really shouldn't have) the Cold Mountain dvd.
then we went back to my house and watched some of the Hedwig & the Angry Inch documentary thing on the dvd speical features (of hedwig, not cold mountain of course tongue )

then i went to bed. and i think i had a wet dream about James Spader (of course he was like Mr. Grey in the dream). you know come to think of it, he wasn't even in the dream, it was just i was waiting for him....*shrug* i dunno what it means....i just know that i've been having really vivid dreams lately. i never fucking remember my dreams. rarely, if ever. but lately.... i remember them in the morning (or afternoon, in most cases). the one i had on tuesday night was scary...*cringe* very very very strange and scary. surreal

i have the day off and i just dont know what to do with myself.
