my mind has officially been blown!!

not much has happened. had yesterday off work (thank god) and i went to the mall w/ roland. he bought a really good outfit from THE GAP! at my suggestion. he's addicted now! muhahahahaha!!!!!!
can we tell i'm happy today?
well, i do have a bitch of a headache, as usual...
oh yeah. there is this radio station in az that all through jr. high... it was the "alternative" station. The Edge.... i can still remember the day when i stopped listening to it. when they played Cypress Hill...that was not what i wanted to hear on my "alternative rock" station. they totally went downhill from there (but then again so did modern music)
for years i never listened to them, except occiasionally when they had their once a week, 3 hour punk show Ska-Punk... but even then they usually played the same couple of bands and the same couple of lousy punk covers. oh and the dj for ska-punk had better knowledge than that too... one summer i called ever week for him to play X's Johnny Hit And Run Pauline... every week he would say he had it, but not in the studio...he did eventually play it. once. and he once played The Voidoid's Blank Generation at my request also...
but my point to this is that the station recently changed. there really isn't any mornonic dj's talking. and they're playing requests! i've heard Blow Up The Outside World by Soundgarden, Search & Destroy by iggy pop (and the stooges?, not sure), i heard Brass In Pocket by the Pretnders the other day, Little Things by Bush, quite a bit of pearl jam, and some white stripes... it's been making me pretty happy. its just very exciting. kinda makes me feel like i'm jr. high again. heh
