ivan is making me sleepy! and rearranging my weekend. i was supposed to go to asheville with my mom to meet my grandparents. it's their anniversary and we were going to spend the weekend up there at the biltmore. but ivan's heading there too and so we've postponed it until oct 1. which means i get to stay home and go to the work meeting at the crack of dawn on saturday. okay, so it starts at 8, but that's still early! wish me luck on winning some good prizes. the main prize is two plane tickets anywhere in the main u.s.
i'm all sleepy from the storms. i have to work a double today and i'm kinda worried the hurricane will pick up while i'm there and i'll have trouble getting home. hopefully if it starts getting bad they'll send people home and shut down. if it's that bad no one will want to come out and eat anyway. at least i have a free meal from yesterday, so i don't have to worry about what i'll get for lunch.

Stay indoors. Stay safe. I remember when Opal came through the ATL. Knocked out our power in Candler Park for nearly a week. Knocked a bunch of trees down. No fun. Good luck and be well.
