okay, so one of my guinea pigs died last night, and i know she was just a rodent, but it still put me in a tizzy...i never thought that i would hear something's death rattle....it's extraordinarily creepy. not to be morbid, but i think about these things....anyway, her whole sickness started showing symptoms with weight loss and a loss of hair above her back legs. and now her daughter, harrison, who lived in the same cage with her, has started to lose some hair, but has not visibly lost any weight. i really hope that whatever it was that killed brak wasn't contagious and is now on its way to claiming harrison. that would just NOT be cool. i still have yet to hear back from the vet about brak's autopsy. hopefully that will clear everything up, and let me know if harrison is suffering the same disease. sheesh. i get myself so worked up about these things. on a lighter note, i get to go home for thanksgiving on wednesday. i can't wait to sleep in my huge, comfy queen-size bed. it's the smallest size that's actually long enough for me. being tall is a pain in my ass sometimes. oh yeah (warning: this has nothing to do with anything), i've decided that there should be a genre of music called "mafiacore" and i feel that being from new jersey, i should take it upon myself to create said genre. it'll probably involve some sort of fusion between the rat pack (sinatra, martin, davis jr.) and converge...now, to go prep my frankenstein-esque lab........
