That photo is really beautiful. It's wonderful being in a community where everyone is so talented. I love taking photos, but I'm self taught. So none of mine come out looking that great. Maybe one day, mine will be as nice as yours.

you know, I find that it's hard to choose one album...I think jazz is more defined song by song so I usually do the MP3 thing although I would love to have some jazz recordings on vinyl. Ella sings a duet with Louis Armstrong titled "Baby, It's Cold Outside" I would recommend downloading that or if you can find it getting a recording. Ella also sings classics like "Whatever Lola Wants", "Blue Skies", and "I Got Rhythm"

Well, I'm not actually former Navy, I'm still active duty. I used to be an instructor and before that spent 5 years on board a ship based out of Hawaii. Soon, it's back to the big grey floating hell again when I join the crew of a Cruiser based here in San Diego.
