Yep, this sounds eerily familiar. This is why I'm more of a "backpacker," unfortunately, the wife tends to prefer this type of "camping" (where the tent is pitched within 10 yards of the car). whatever
Sorry the weekend was a bit of a bummer, but at least you got to rest your injured foot tongue
signalnoise:
This is *fascinating.* I moved from a Real City to Montana about a year ago, and I've tossed around the idea of camping. I did it once or twice as a kid, and it was never my thing. But what the hell else do you DO out here? I am rethinking my position now.
scandal_:
<3 you are so biased! wink

It feels almost like christmas, being so close.

PS. I am not ignoring you, just being lazy on messages. You know how I do that sometimes.
davego:
never thought you were smile
scandal_:
Oh I just wanted to make sure you knew. wink Because I am rather fond of you.

I appreciate your help. I wish multiples counted too! But I have done my research, and it's the ratios that really matter. I feel stupid making a plea with my friends, but could be worse....all I ask is a little of my friend's time. smile
scandal_:
I hope I get to meet you someday. smile

midlife crisis in the sense of the recent Geezer's group kerfuffle, or real? As to the former, it's been an entertaining rant, but I don't really have anything to add to that that hasn't already been said (and remind me to try never to piss you off shocked ) As to the latter, I tend to have my crises mid-decade. At 25 I decided to go to law school & get married; at 35 the whole physical fitness/workout thing kicked in. I shudder to think what's going to happen in four years. wink

impressive library. can i come over and read?

Well if you cannot find them, I am not going to point them out! wink Thanks!
