See? That wasn't too hard. I for one, think stable and unremarkable beats the shit out of having a lot of ups and downs. Minimal drama, that's what I'm looking for in my twilight years. BTW we started Lost on DVD early this spring, and got caught up to the beginning of this last season, which guess I'll wait for Netflix to put up. For me the first few seasons are good, but it gets a bit wonky towards the rear.
wellll... i'm already seeing some patterns forming that most weekly series cant seem to avoid ...
(Dexter is still the only series that i think got everything right - including a shorter season)
with Lost - every eposide so far has people accusing each other of doing stuff they didnt do.
and when they go back to the 'discover the past of the individuals' well for the 2nd and 3rd time for the same people ... it just doesnt interest me as much anymore. Starting to feel stretched out already.
But i'll stick with it - my wife and kid are into it ..
I, read these things, but then again, I don't have too much else to do. Yeah, my wife & kid were far more into Lost than I was. But you can make it fun, for example, every time a character asks a rhetorical question have a drink. You'd be surprise how fast this can catch up on you.
