Wow, Chinese Stars were fucking wonderful. New material is dancier and just so good. The Daughters headlined and rocked my socks. The 45 year old hippy with dreads to his ass smelled horrible. Unfortunately he stood in front of me for part of the CS set, videotaping.
Three fourths of my old band, including me, were there, so it was tons of fun. We ate falafel after, it was freezing in the city.
Knitting Factory has become my favorite venue.
Last night I smoked with Lauren, watched Pulp Fiction, ate the remainder of my food. I then proceded to sleep for fifteen hours straight.
I saw mom in the hospital yesterday. She seems alright, she's on a clear liquid diet. Her colostomy bag filled up so we left when the nurses came to empty it. The neighborhood isn't as bad as I thought. Parking is cheaper than Hackensack and free after 3.
I suppose I should end this entry as opposed to just leaving it hanging like that, which is why I'm editing the entry.
Something to look forward to soon: Culture Shock at SUNY Purchase, with the Bouncing Souls and Ghostfaced Killer headlining. Something in the long term.....two weeks, three European countries, two guys with nothing but backpacks. Intrigued? Then stay tuned.
