ok so the tattoo convention was fun; i enjoyed meeting some more hot ladies (as i always do).

i refrained from taking any pictures, or, rather ("refrained" being misused) i don't have a camera or else i would have. i absolutely love meeting people in person, the site is great for initial contact but, needless-to-say, you really get a better sense of people when you meet them personally. it was such a nice break from all the Young-Sartre-Foucault-etcetera(nian) theory i have been wrapping my teeny-tiny mind around lately.

again, i almost got tattooed myself, and again somehow i manifested it not to happen. HOWEVER, my friend Trevor from electric tattoo in edmonton will be coming back soon and we are going-for-it then.

i received a gift from Rrrrudie, a very pretty hopeful on the site, and it is a wonderful little trinket made from an earring.

today has begun well, i woke up to a clean apartment (all because the rancid roommate has left for good), had some tea, read some decent literature (perhaps learning a thing or two), popped onto the site and BLAMMO...

have not yet purchased a laptop (clearly avoidance of the finer things). insted, i am skipping a class today to catch up on much needed research (for all my classes) and enjoying the new-nonstinking-cleanliness of my home. i spent the better half of yester-evening sterilizing the shit out of everything; including light-switches, door-nobs, handles, focets, anything that has not been thouroughly cleaned since coming into contact with the old roommate.

now back to my studies...
