He is Awesome first of all ..and reminds me of my Lucy that passed a few months ago..She was an english lop..and I often thought she woulda liked a friend ..although she actually got along with our dog which I thought was awesome..Are you a member of the Exoctic Pets group..they have wonderful info and threads in there in regards to buns..BTW how old is yours?
When I had bunnies I got two because I didn't want the loneliness. After awhile one of my bunnies started to chase the other and attack it/rape it we're not really sure what was going on. I ended up having to get rid of them both. It was a sad, sad day. I want another bunny so badly.
I talked to several people about it and they said it could have been two females being territorial or a female/male mating thing. But I was never sure of the sex of either bunny. I would find a bunny expert or do a ton of online research before you purchase a furry friend.
Unless bunnies have been raised together, they are going to hate each other. At least at first. Bunnies are very territorial so you have to introduce them in a neutral space outside your home. They will fight, you have to be patient and work with them. Check out the House Rabbit Society (www.rabbit.org) for awesome articles. Good luck!
A companion would probably be nice for him. I've been thinking my dog needs a canine friend, for the same reason.
