Went to FRIGHTMARE yesterday! Was frickin awesome.....my only regret is not having enough money to get all the things I wanted. But I got to talk to many of the horror greats, got a dvd signed by George Romero (he didn't even charge me, awesome), talked creature shop with Tom Savini and bs'ed with a bunch others. Plus I got a pretty nice hoodie for free! Saw the SG's....but the line was a wee bit longer than what I could stand....plus I wanted a beer hehe.
I kept wondering why Tom Savini didn't have a huge ass line......the only thoughts that came to mind was that many people didn't even realize who he was (which is fuckin sad), that or he has been known to be a dick sometimes. But if I had to put up with droves and droves of people, my temper might get a little short as well.
After frightmare, we headed on over to Outdoor World (aka the bass pro shop). I always feel like a kid in a toy store there. I have to get me a pontoon boat either this summer or next. Nothing like sitting out on the lake anchored down. Being able to fish, bbq, drink, party and swim. Then at any given moment drag someone behind it in a tube and see how long it'll take me to knock'em off hehe. Can't wait for summer, love camping!
