If we're talking about consenting adults, do what makes you happy and don't trouble yourself with any hostile critics. What sane person has a problem with what other people want to do for fun? It's not like they're being forced to join in.
@jozsef What sane person has a problem with what other people want to do for fun? It's not like they're being forced to join in.. If only it were that easy, but sadly there is always some judgmental prick who is deeply dissatisfied with their own lives that they feel the need to drag people down.
Fantastic post Dame. This should be easy for anyone to understand. We all need to learn to not shame ourselves about our desires, fantasies, and curiosities. If we can accept our own, we can more easily accept others doing the same.
@LEIGHGABRIEL Exactly. There's the desire to feel morally or intellectually superior by condemning others for their failings, which means having to define what's acceptable just to make the whole stupid system work. It's tiresome, dumb and uncreative.
@jozsef I feel it's so much worse when it's not a failing they pick on. Like when someone is deliberately targeted for doing something they enjoy and are good at. You know you're a real POS when you deliberately go out of your way to condemn something that someone is genuinely happy with. It's far too easy to condemn someone without realizing that you are undermining their confidence in something. This is why I still have a genuine dislike for the "Not for me" button on model's sets on this site. My parents always told me that if you didn't have something nice to say, don't fucking say it. If you don't like it, scroll the fuck on, ya know?
