Aside from being a little under the weather, Cardiff is still treating me pretty well. =) I found out that I get paid in advance, 3 months at a time, which means I'm about to get a very hefty check. Not sure exactly how much it'll be for, but it'll certainly be enough to pay the bills that need paid, and puts less of a time constraint on getting my money from my US bank to here. Still, though, it does create some interesting budgeting constraints, and I'll have to do a little more planning ahead with my money than I'm used to.

That did bring up an interesting point, though. One of the professors I'm working with pointed out that if I'm ever to host a party, make sure it's right after everyone gets paid. They tend to bring more booze then.

I'm settling in rather nicely here. Made some good friends, and I'm getting out a lot more than I was back in the States. Less sitting in my room alone, so that's a plus. =)

I also found a really good take away that has free delivery until they close, at 3am. Useful! Especially since it's about to become cold and rainy and stay that way until March or April. ><

There was something else that has completely slipped my mind. Oh well.
