howard stern comes on my radio alarm in the morning. i usually listen to him for a half hour. his show is being taken off the air, and it was all started (this is all from memory, which is known to have just a few flaws) courtesy of a senator who is pressuring clear channel. that senator lives in housing funded by the church. the religious right also makes hefty donations to the fcc, which is going to probably put millions of dollars in fines over howard's show, and make the beuracratic hoops so crazy and deep, it'll be impossible for the show to air. i mean, that's crazy. seperation of church and state dissappearing faster than the ozone.
a federal investigation into janet jackson's boob flash? c'mon. have we really gone that fucking nuts? apparently the answer is yes.
